Sleeve 3 has arrived — built for macOS Tahoe on Apple Silicon, restoring full Apple Music support and introducing an all-new Liquid Glass design.
Sleeve's redesign embraces Liquid Glass, while keeping all of the polish and carefully custom-crafted interface and controls that have made Sleeve so easy to use and configure in previous incarnations.
Every control, button and panel in Sleeve has been carefully updated to feel native to macOS Tahoe. The settings window has been refreshed with the new Sidebar design, the Tahoe wallpaper and utilising the new materials in macOS Tahoe.
We've also taken the opportunity to consolidate some settings and simplify the interface further.
The Sleeve icon has been reimagined with Liquid Glass styling to match the new look too. It retains the familiar Sleeve colors while adopting a fresh glassy treatment to feel right at home in your Dock.
Previous icons are still available in Settings if you prefer a throwback look, and all support album artwork in their icon.
Sleeve's themes can now take full advantage of Tahoe's new interface materials. Whether you prefer the previous subtle blur effect or a more vibrant glassy look, the new material options let you create themes that blend with your desktop while keeping your album artwork front and center.
When macOS Tahoe launched, a breaking change in Apple's AppleScript support meant that Sleeve couldn't display information for streaming Apple Music tracks that weren't in your library. We're thrilled to report that this issue has been resolved, and Sleeve 3 restores full Apple Music support.
Thanks to everyone who reported this issue and waited patiently for a fix — we know it was frustrating, and we're glad to have this working again.
If you've purchased from us directly, and haven't already been prompted, you can manually check for updates in the 'System' tab of Sleeve to install the update. For App Store users, you should see the update available in your 'Updates' tab in the Mac App Store.
This release of Sleeve requires macOS 26 Tahoe. For Sleeve users running earlier versions of macOS, that have yet to upgrade, you can continue using the final version of Sleeve 2 which is 2.3.5 — that is the last planned release of Sleeve 2.
No subscriptions. No in-app purchases. Requires macOS 26 Tahoe or later.
We'd like to thank everyone who's been patiently waiting for this update, and to all our Apple Music users who had reported the issue and been patient while a fix was developed. Finally, Happy New Year to everyone using and enjoying Sleeve! We hope you love using the new version of Sleeve.
